Jim Anderson will be leading a FGMS collecting field trip to the Barstow area on Saturday May 18 and Sunday May 19, 2024. The exact meet-up location and time for each day are still being finalized. Final details will be distributed soon. Due to insurance reasons, in order to participate in club field trips, all attendees must be current members of FGMS (you must have paid your 2024 dues). A Liability Waiver must also be signed prior to the field trip - see below.
Road conditions are mostly dirt roads with some sandy areas. High ground clearance is strongly recommended and 4WD is suggested. When you register, please specify if you will be driving a 4WD high ground clearance vehicle and if so, how many additional passengers you are willing to transport to the collecting sites.
