General membership meeting for Fallbrook Gem and Mineral Society. Admission is free. Meetings begin with the business portion at 6:30 pm followed by a presentation or special event. Registration is not required for attendance.
Gem and Mineral Museum plus Gift Shop. Open free to the public, this small but mighty "gem" of a museum showcases minerals, fossils and gemstones from San Diego County and beyond. Highlights include a fluorescent room, San Diego Pegmatite, fossil display, rough and cut specimens, and other mineral delights.
Volunteers informally gather on most Saturdays to do one, some or all of the following under guidance as needed:

The elected Fallbrook Gem and Mineral Society Board of Directors meets monthly to review Committee and Event reports, plan and/or address matters pertaining to the operation of the Fallbrook Gem and Mineral Society. Members are welcome to attend. Those wishing to address the Board of Directors can contact President Lea Barton at least five days before the meeting. The minutes and financial reports are posted on the meeting room bulletin board.
Join us for a Festival of Gems, Fossils, and Minerals! Over 40 vendors of crystals, jewelry, mineral specimens, gemstones, unusual gift items, Gem ID, bargain booth, lapidary rough and cut, wheel of fortune, kids activities - with a rockhounding trick or treat, food booth, plus a raffle of spectacular prizes! Prospective vendors can send an email to fallbrookgems@gmail.com for an application. Applications are due by August 1, 2025. If you'd like to be considered for the 2025 Fall Festival of Gems and Minerals, send an email to fallbrookgems@gmail.com or visit our Museum during open hours (Fridays 11-3, Saturdays 10-4).
